Why “Blurred”?

You know those facebook trends that spread like wildfire, only to vanish as quickly as they appeared? I accidentally ended up next in line to post one of those lists: [number] Things You Might Not Know About Me. I was supposed to do it a couple of months ago, but never ACTUALLY did it because of the thing that was going to be #1 on the list:

I agonise over just about everything I post online.

I think it’s the eyes. Too many different eyes absorbing the same stuff all at once. You know? It’s too much to keep track of.

So that’s why I’m quiet online. I keep resolving to do better, be more engaging, but every attempt always does my head in, sooner or later.

So if it’s cool with you, I’m going to pretend that I’m the only person who’s going to read this stuff. I’m really good at being multiple, and I’m also an expert at talking to myself, so.

I’ve had some requests that I talk about the title of our album. And the cover art.

So let’s play a pictures game. I’m assuming you like cryptics, because you are me.

(“blurred” is autological in this context)

Sidenote: don’t you find the whole concept of reborn dolls intriguing? Ooh and have you seen the creepy ones that look like baby vampires or zombies? SO FASCINATING and by fascinating I mean morbid and interesting in a moreish way that leaves you questioning your tastebuds.

P.S. We’re coming to AUSTRALIA! More details soon…
